THE FOUNDER
Justine Vilgrain is a creative concept designer, curator and co-founder of Braw Haus, a creative studio founded in 2018 with Patricia Gloum, at the crossroads of art, technology and contemporary culture. Diagnosed with dyslexia at a very young age, she had a difficult time at school before finding, in England, a system finally suited to the way she learns.
After many international collaborations with artists, brands and institutions, she noticed a paradox: difference is celebrated in art, but still stigmatised in society and in the workplace. That is what led her to create Certified Dyslexic.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York, Justine now develops purpose-driven projects and regularly speaks out in support of neurodiversity and inclusion.

How the project began
In 2018, Justine wrote a letter to the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron. When no reply came, she told herself: “If you want something done, do it yourself.” And so she created Certified Dyslexic, an idea born from her own daily life to help her every day, and to support all DYS people. A very simple idea, but one that changes daily life for a lot of people.
